We take the canal towpath southwards from Bollington to Clarke Lane, then on by paths, tracks and minor roads to Kerridge Hill and back along the ridge to White Nancy, descending to Oak Lane and back onto the canal at Adelphi Mill, returning to the start via Bollington Aqueduct and the Recreation Ground. Great views from Kerridge Ridge if the weather conditions are right.
Mostly on good paths/tracks and minor roads, but there will be some muddy places and one steepish climb - wear suitable footwear, and bring poles if you use them.
Bring drinks and snacks for a coffee stop.
