Overview

We will walk from Brassington for around 9.5 milesthrough rolling countryside with good views from the high points including views over Carsington Water from Harboro Rocks early on in the walk. There are climbs on this walk but they re not overly steep. We will use part of the Limestone way and the Pennine Bridleway. There are no facilities on this walk. The walk will start from the Wirksworth Dale Car Park just north of Brassington the car park is free.

Although some people will come through Ashbourne you will not need to use the A515 northbound that we know is closed. In fact you will use the diversion route on the B5035 until you turn off for Brassington. The car park is just north of the village on Wirksworth Drive and is well signed posted from the village.
