We are the Hike on Lancashire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Meeting in the car park for Brindle Community Hall, we walk to the 19th century 'model village' of Withnell Fold.
We then follow the canal for a short stretch before heading back to Brindle.
Finally, we'll decamp to The Cavendish Arms for a drink!
The walk is along tracks, roads/footpaths and through fields. Walking boots or sturdy trainers are strongly recommended as some short stretches will be wet or muddy, or on uneven ground.
Sorry, no dogs (due to lots of livestock, primarily cows, in fields through which we'll walk).
