Overview

A lovely circular walk from Glenridding up to Sheffield Pike and Stybarrow Dodd.  We climb from the village up to the summit of Sheffield Pike and then across the ridge to Stybarrow Dodd and returning via Sticks Pass and Glencoyne Wood.  Weather permitting, we will have spectacular views back to Ullswater.  We will return to Glenridding and we’ll deserved post walk refreshments.

The walk is generally decent underfoot but there a some boggy sections and some steep, rocky parts so walking boots required.  We will set in the car park in the village for a 10:30am start.

Ramblers members please remember to show your membership card or Phone Ap. (Otherwise, if not a Ramblers member please book a place via Hike on Lancashire on Meetup - suggested donation of £2)
