Another boring muddy walk in the New Forest!
Meet at the car park on the east side of the railway line in the trees opposite the Drift Pub. The parking immediately adjacent to the station is private. We will be taking the train to Brockenhurst from the east side at 10.10. There is no ticket machine so if you have not bought them elsewhere you will need to get one from the guard at the rear of the train. Fare £4.60 or £3.05 with a railcard (as at 11 February 2025). Journey time 6 minutes. The route back will go via Culverley Green, Butts Lawn, Balmer Lawn, Standing Hat. New Copse amd Woodfidley Cottages, Woodfidley Passage and Shatter Ford. Take a picnic lunch and drink with you.
