Overview

Total elevation gain 280m, most of which is a steady 2 mile ascent from Brockweir to Hewelsfield. Our lunch stop will be by St Briavels castle, followed by a descent to Bigsweir Bridge then south to Brockweir following the east bank of the River Wye.
