We will catch the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Brussel Midi/Zuid. We will then walk to the Grand Place - the centre square of Brussels via the famous statue of the Mannekin Pis. We will also walk pass the female version -the Jannekin Pis and the animal version - Zinneke Pis.
We will stop at the dazzling Grand Place or Grote Markt with its variety of architectural styles for one hour during which time you can get lunch , visit the City Hall , Museum or shops.
After lunch we will continue to Les Galeries Royales Saint - Hubert a row of up market boutiques. Then we proceed to the Sablon neighbourhood, to see St Michel and St Gudula Cathedral. From there we will go to the district of the royal court, located in the upper part of the city. We will walk pass the Royal Palace enroute to the European Parliament.
We will stop here for two hours so you can visit the Parlamentarium - the European Parliament visitors centre and the Hemicycle - the European Parliament debating chamber.
After that visit we will walk towards the impressive Palais de Justice building and then back down to Brussels Midi/Zuid Railway station. If time allows we will stop for dinner at a local brasserie by the railway station before catching the train back to London
