Starting our walk from The Look Out we follow wide Forestry tracks to the Iron Age Hill Fort at Caesars Camp walking on narrow paths around the embankment, giving an idea of the extraordinary task of building this Scheduled Ancient Monument. From here we continue our walk to Roman Spur around the reservoirs on to Lower Star Post then to Wishmoor Cross. We then follow woodland trails & some narrow paths to New England & Pudding Hills before returning through Barossa Common back to the start of our walk.
This is an undulating walk, not muddy but some uneven paths with surface roots and loose gravel in places. Boots recommended.
