Overview

** LIKELY TO BE CANCELLED **
Please let me know if you're coming since I may cancel this walk at very short notice.

- Rushton Spencer has snow forecast from midnight until about mid-day, but who knows how much...

- Also the wind chill from 40mph winds means it will feel like -9C at 9am, warming to -7C by 11am  for the rest of the day.

From Rushton Spencer we will head for the Bridestones, then ascend Bosley Cloud (343 metres). The Dane Valley Way will then take us back to approach Rushton Spencer from the east.

Since this is mid-winter, sunset is at 15:53 in Rushton Spencer, it will get dark 30-60 minutes after that dependent on the weather, hence the earlier start than normal, ie. __ 9am __. We will need to maintain a good pace to avoid finishing in the dark.
