Overview

Soon leaving after leaving Chepstow we shall be viewing a ruined building with an interesting history. After a section of woodland walking our route climbs to eventually reach a complex series of paths through fields and woodland. We then descend to reach Tintern and the lunch stop. Inevitably we have a steep post-prandial climb to reach the Devil's Pulpit. The remainder of the walk is much easier and we should have good views of the Severn before our final section along Offa's Dyke Path.
