Overview

The walk begins in Wellow Car Park. We climb the hill to Twinhoe (the first hill) and then descend into the Cam valley with a coffee stop at Combe Hay church.

Along the valley on the Limestone Link, we then ascend a hill to Peasedown St John (the second hill) and thence to the village of Shoscombe where we have lunch (for ONE HOUR) on the village green.

Drinks are available in the Apple Tree pub which has an extensive garden.

We return to Wellow along the appropriately named Wellow valley.

The morning is much longer than the afternoon.
