We will start the walk from the old village Hall in Chettle. Take the turning to Chettle off the A354 Blandford to Salisbury Road. Shortly after entering the village you will pass the village stores on your right. Proceed a short way to a fork in the road where there is an island with grass and tree, and you will see the village hall (small building with a red door) slightly left and in front of you. There is a back-to-back layby with some parking here. For more parking, bear right at the fork and you will see a large layby on your right by the play park and another on your left in front of a thatched bus shelter. Kind permission has been given to use the Chettle Village Stores car park as an overflow parking area if needed.
