Moderate to brisk paced walk involving several steep uphill and downhill sections in both the morning and afternoon. Poles recommended for some of the downhill sections which may be slippery after rain.
We go west from Saunderton station towards Piddington, crossing some attractive valleys and ridges on the way there, then crossing them again after lunch as we circle back to Saunderton station.
Good long sweeping views from the tops of the ridges.
