Overview

This walk offers the opportunity to walk in the attractive and varied  scenery around Goathland, passing through woodland, pretty valleys and open moorland and along meandering streams  There are stepping stones to cross, a steam railway and plenty of steep ascents and descents. The walk is graded strenuous as the overall ascent is over 2000ft, but the walk offers the reward of wide ranging vistas of this beautiful area.
