We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A delightful circular walk. We'll be meeting at the White Hart pub in Hackleton, walking to the adjoining village of Piddington and from there into Salcey Forest. We'll be making a brief stop at the cafe where there are toilet facilities. Please park in the pub car park if you are planning to eat there after the walk. Otherwise there is plenty of on-road parking available in the vicinity.
The walk will be mainly across fields and along forest paths. There are no stiles to navigate, no hills, no livestock to contend with. It is however likely to be very muddy underfoot so come prepared with appropriate footwear and poles.
