Overview

This leisurely walk from the White Mills Marina is partly beside the River Nene but also passes through Earls Barton with its Anglo-Saxon Church tower and nearby Norman motte. There are splendid views over the valley on the descent down Mill Lane back to the Nene Way to return beside the river to the Marina. No stiles. Dogs are welcome.

The walk will start from the car park at White Mills Marina off Station Road, which is the road towards Grendon, to the south of the Earls Barton junction on the A45. The marina is on the right before the traffic lights at the bridge over the river.
