Overview

This walk takes us across heathland, past flooded quarries now used for fishing and a nature reserve, up onto the dizzy heights of the Shenley Ridge from which there are extensive views over St Albans and beyond. Descending from the ridge we pass through some football training grounds before reaching the lunch stop at London Colney. Then we return through fields and woods back to the start.

The leader is Paul 07506 210016.

Please bring a packed lunch. There will be a brief pub stop for drinks.
