We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.

This 7 mile leisurely walk starts from Barnes station and walks across Barnes Common with a coffee stop before crossing Hammmersmith bridge and continuing beside the Thames to Fulham Palace for a picnic or cafe lunch stop. After crossing Putney bridge the walk continues beside the river before traversing the Common again to Barnes station for the return journey. The leader will be on the 10.03 train from Staines which arrives at Barnes station at 10.35 so the walk will start then.
