Overview

Meet 10:30 at Hurtwood car park No 8, which is the larger of the two car parks on Farley Heath Road (Explorer 145 gridref TQ051447 nearest postcode GU5 9EW). From A25 follow Sherbourne, New Road, Brook Hill and August Lane to Farley Heath Road. 

This is a circular walk on undulating paths with valley views, villages and forest paths via Blackheath Forest, Brook, Peaslake and Dick's Hill. DIY drinks stop in the morning. Pub stop or picnic at Peaslake. It will be muddy in parts so bring walking poles if you use them.

This walk is based upon one of the walks in Les Ham's book 'The Surrey Hills'.
