From the car park we will take the scenic route North to the Coombe Hill Boer War Monument, then turn NEE to Bacombe Hill and the Tumulus. We'll cross a field to Bacombe Lane, then footpaths to High Scrubs, Fugsden Wood and Goodmerhill Wood before stopping at Buckmoorend Farm Shop which is highly recommended for a hot snack, hot drink (or even beer if you prefer), cake, local icecream etc. and where others may alternatively use the picnic tables for a packed lunch.
A portaloo is available at the lunch stop.
After lunch we will take the Ridgeway Path back to the car park.
Well behaved dogs are allowed.
