Overview

We head east taking in the paths around Hawley Hill House, where assorted foreign animals can often be seen in the paddocks and there are glimpses of the estate's private railway.  We pass through Fawley and head for Southend before turning west through Stonor Park.  From Stonor there is a steep climb up through Almshill Wood and then we head south along the ridge back to Middle Assendon.  Moderate pace about 5kmph.  Please bring a packed lunch. 351M ascent.
Dog friendly.
