We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk starts from outside the school and crosses Wickham Green before meandering through woodland emerging on to farm tracks to reach Tullock Farm from where we head broadly south to Sole Farm, Sole Common and Sole Plantation. The route then continues along track and field paths, some of which were wet and muddy when we did the recce, to the outskirts of Elcot. Farm tracks then take us on to Clapton where there is a section of walking on a minor road to Radley Bottom and Heath Hanger Copse. We return to the cars via Heath Hanger Lane, Wickfield Copse, and Windingwood Lane.
Please bring sufficient food and drink for the day.
Sections of this walk are exposed so please dress appropriately according to the weather forecasts. Some of the woodland paths were also wet and muddy.
