Overview

We meet at Ball Pit Lane from where we head west along the Woolvers Road before turning north to skirt round Hodcott House and West Ilsley Stables to reach West Ilsley. Heading still further north alongside the Gallops we reach the Ridgeway which we then follow across Several Downs before descending to East Ilsley and the cars. Sections of the walk are quite exposed and we can probably expect some mud at this time of year so please come prepared for whatever the weather has in-store for us. Santa hats are optional but this should be a good opportunity for spotting Reindeer on their Christmas Eve training runs.
