This is a additional evening walk led by Valda starting from Cropston and heading for the historical Bradgate Country Park. A walk through the park before returning to Cropston via the Hallgates entrance.
5 miles. Could be hilly depending on the route taken through the park.
Many Deer and maybe Peacocks can be seen.
Toilets but own refreshments will be required.
Bradgate Country Park is arguably the highlight of the Leicestershire countryside. With historical connections to Lady Jane Grey, the 7 day Queen, and the ruins where she lived makes it a very interesting place for an evening walk. Much wildlife and trees hundreds of years old can be seen.
