Overview

This is an undulating and scenic walk and our first peak on the route will be the trig point at Markfield where there are views across to Beacon Hill and Bradgate. There are a mix of fields, tracks, an old railway line and minor roads, and some stiles. The second peak is Billa Barra Hill with its Charnwood Noon Column sculpture and views across to Bardon Hill and the Leicestershire countryside.
