Overview

Starting from Meavy School we follow the Leat and Burrator Dams to Sheepstor before taking the footpath to Marchant's Cross via woodland where we may catch the last of the bluebells. Depending on conditions and timing we could continue looping through fields and paths via Loveton to return to Meavy or head back down the road via the ford and bridge to the start place. Either way we can finish at The Royal Oak ,passing in on return to the school or continue along the road from the school if we take the slightly shorter route.

There are a couple of high ladder stiles and a couple of smaller ones en route.
