Overview

Catching the 10.41 train from Plymouth( Devonport , St Budeaux)) to Bodmin Parkway , we will walk up through Lanhydrock woods to have picnic lunch at the cafe and playpark at Lanhydrock. Walking down past the house we will head into the wider estate walks for bluebells, bamboo forests and tree climbing before meeting the River Fowey to follow the waterside path back to Bodmin station. Plenty of places for river play and scrambling. Trains back to Plymouth at 15.36 ( with a change at Plymouth for Tamar Line stations) or 16.31 stopping train to Plymouth.
