Overview

Moderate anticlockwise circular along tracks and footpaths with a few easy stiles. Walking through woodland and then moorland with excellent views. We ascend slowly up the woodland zigzag path to Daffodil Mountain where the wild daffodils should be at their best. Stopping briefly at Llangelynnin Church before ascending to the Iron Age Cae Bach Hillfort on the slopes of Tal y Fan and onwards via the Neolithic cromlech and “Roman Bridge” back to Rowen. 370 m height gain.
