Overview

Walking along a quiet lane from the lovely village of Downham, we cross the fields and weather permitting may catch sight of the three peaks. We walk through the the tiny village of Rimington and have lunch in a sheltered spot near the site of the Skeleron Lead and Silver Mines. We walk back along lanes and field tracks under the shadow of Pendle Hill.
