A circular walk, starting at the footpath opposite Lammas Lane on Kneeton Road, just outside East Bridgford. Park at the side of the road near here ( just after the business park and the farm). Then taking the footpath across the fields to the village of Kneeton, where we will stop for coffee at the church ( benches and a wall to sit on). We then take the footpath down to the River Trent, following it round and then back up the hill to the cars. No lunch stop. Pub and a shop in East Bridgford at the end.
This walk is moderate with some undulating and uneven terrain. Several steepish hills and slopes, and seven stiles to negotiate! Lovely views across the Trent Valley from the top and also a variety of water birds to be seen. No toilets.
Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
