Visiting three pretty Sussex villages in the Low Weald this route initially follows the Wealdway then crosses pasture and woodland before returning via farmland.
27/2/25 The Wealdway and farmland sections are really muddy and the pastures are wet but the woodland green lane is hard track and we also use some quiet lanes so its worth it overall.
We'll stop for refreshment and a lunch break. Please bring a picnic.
Regarding dogs - Be warned that there is a high stile leading into a muddy field of frisky bullocks.
Free public parking off London Road adjacent to tennis courts. Opposite new housing development.
