Overview

Essex Way walk 1. Starting in Epping, we will visit the station where the Essex Way begins. Our walk will incorporate the first 5 miles of the Essex Way, walking through fields and ancient woodland where Dick Turpin once rode on Black Bess, terrorising travellers as daylight faded. Packed lunch at Toot Hill (once a look out post) before returning to Epping. Possible car parking chrages TBA.
