Overview

Please join us on our annual Boxing Day walk in memory of Eric Gibbons, one of the founder members of Dearne Valley Ramblers.  This year's walk is a lovely 6 mile leisurely stroll starting in Barnburgh, heading for High Melton via Barnburgh Crags (look out for the carved faces in the rock) and returning via Denaby Ings and the Dearne Way. There will be some road walking and some field walking, mostly on good paths and tracks - though one field is very muddy after recent flooding. Dogs on short fixed leads welcome. 2 small stiles.
