Farnham & District Ramblers offers an all-year-round programme of walks in the beautiful Surrey Hills, North East Hampshire, and South Downs National Park.
Our first evening walk of the summer season will be a very pleasant walk around Hankley Common. There are no stiles on the walk.
We will adjourn to the Royal British Legion after the walk to indulge in their cheap beers and cidrers (or the tipple of your choice)! Dogs on leads welcome and will almost certainly be welcome in the Legion gardens. If the weather is not so good you should contact the Legion to check whether dogs would be welcome inside.
Elstead Village. Please park considerately on the roads surrounding the Village Green or along Stacey's Farm Road nearby. Please do not use the Legion car park as, if the walk attracts a high number of walkers, we will not be popular with the regulars if we fill their car park with our cars.
