Overview

This flat walk begins in the Layby at Bracey Bridge near Burton Agness.

Walking to West End Farm,we head to the tranquil village of Harpham.It is here we can see the ancient church of St John built in the 14th Century built by Sir William St Quintin.

It is here also the Drummer Boy's well can be seen which has an interesting past and  will offer a brief explanation on the day of the walk.

Walking on the edge of Lingholmes Plantation we head to the historic village of Lowthorpe and go by the church of St Martin also built in the C14th.

From here we head to Church Wood and back to the cars

This ramble is flat,strolling open fields and in pastoral settings. The two churches and The Drummer Boys Well offer a historical setting to this memorable walk.

Added attractions are the fast running clear chalk streams.

There is some quiet road walking. 

New walkers to the group are always welcome, but please make yourselves known to the walk leaders before we start. 

As always dogs are welcome but on short lead please.
