Overview

This comparative new walk begins at Watton Layby. We begin this attractive walk, walking towards the small village of Kilnwick passing by Tall Trees,Fir Trees and Low Wood Plantations. Kilnwick is mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086.Reaching Kilnwick, we head to the historic village of Cawkeld via Kilnwick New Farm.From here we walk by old fish ponds and back to the cars.
