We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The idea is that you can do all day, or just the morning or just the afternoon, both walks start and finish in Hellidon, hence the figure of 8 description. The morning walk will be, longest at 7.8m the afternoon 5.5m via Priors Marston commencing at 1.45pm.
In the morning we walk up out of Hellidon towards Charwelton and back along the old railway line to Catesby, returning to Hellidon. Should have good views.
The lunch stop will be Hellidon, with drinks available in the pub. The afternoon walk will aim to start at 1.45 pm from the pub.
Meet near the Red Lion pub, Stockwell Rd, Hellidon. Park carefully in the village.
