The walk starts from Harrietsham Railway Station and takes in some truly wonderful views of the North Downs which are spectacular on a clear day.
Crossing the railway line we start our ascent using The Pilgrims Way leading us on to the North Downs Way using a firm track underfoot, cutting through fields to reach the edge of a woodland area where we will pause for a short drink before cutting through Highland & Salisbury Woods heading in the direction of Ringlestone.
Having reached Ringlestone we will stop for a nibble break before making our way back through farmland whilst just passing the Ringlewood reservoirs until we are looking down on the North Downs where we experience some wonderful views of the stunning Kent countryside before desending back to the Pilgrims Way and our starting point.
Nibble break just outside Ringlestone.
Depending on the weather the walk may be muddy in some parts.
After the walk you can obtain lunch or a drink at the Percivals Rest Pub situated in Harrietsham village.
If you are staying for lunch please advise the walk leader on the day so that a suitable size table can be reserved with the pub in advance.
There are seven stiles but all are well maintained.
Small dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead at all times.
