We pass the Fishpool at the start of the walk (hopefully full of water lilies). There are 2 ancient bee gardens en-route on land previously owned by Chertsey Abbey. We walk up to Tank Hill and along the public footpaths of Longcross Estate passing a few security guards.
We leave at 10am sharp so please arrive in good time for register and put on boots etc. Please let us know if you do not have ICE (in case of emergency) card or information on your phone.
Recommend boots with good grips and walking poles for descending narrow steep gulley paths with exposed roots and gravel. There is a steep hill to Jubilee Mount Car Park. Some paths over the common are uneven and overgrown.
