We are the White Cliffs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This circular walk starts from the green opposite 76 Wear Bay Road, Folkestone just below Martello Tower no.1 (on-street parking is allowed in Wear Bay Road from 1 st October onwards). After the first 3 towers in the East Cliff area the walk descends to Folkestone Harbour before heading up to The Leas for no.4. The next section continues west along the ridge above Sandgate and Seabrook for nos.5-9 before dropping to the seafront. The remainder of the walk follows the Coast Path east back to the start, with a lunch break after 6 miles in Sandgate (there are several cafes, coffee shops and pubs, plus many benches for those that wish to bring their own refreshments).
