Overview

Meet in the Forestry Commission free car park at West Wood (height restriction). The car park is on the minor road between Six Mile Garage, Stone Street and the Lord Whisky Tea Rooms at the crossroads outside Rhodes Minnis.

This is a circular walk via Stowting Common, Lymbridge Green, Whatsole Street, Bodsham, Yockletts Bank Nature Reserve – where there should be a good display of wildflowers including wild garlic and maybe orchids, returning via Stelling Minnis and Park Wood. The route is hilly in places.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, but you may need to lift them over some stiles.

Bring your own refreshments – there will be a stop en route. Further refreshments are available at the end of the walk at the Lord Whisky Tea Rooms.
