Overview

This lowland walk across pond-dappled farmland joins the Macclesfield Canal before returning across Danes Moss; an area of lowland raised bog fringing the foot of the Peak District’s looming hills. Gawsworth has a memorable waterside church and Gawsworth Old Hall is a black and white timber framed manor.
