Overview

A circular walk around the northern fringes of Glenrothes through a mixture of woods, parks and a few residential streets.  The walk begins at Formonthills and follows green paths through Balgeddie to the River Leven.  After briefly crossing and re-crossing the river, the route visits the Balfarg Henge restoration before following the Coul Burn to Coul Den Nature Reserve.  The walk finishes through woodland to ascend Rhind Hill for a panoramic view before returning to Formonthills past the totem pole.
