Over two days we are doing the Glo Aur walk in memory of the mining disaster at Cymmer Colliery. The second day we will walk from Treforest Train station to Insole Court.
We will meet at Fairwater road by the Rookwood Hospital and walk to Fairwater train station to take the 9.52 train to Treforest. From here we will walk to Insole Court. The walk will be on tarmac paths so use shoes suitable for this.
Although the walk could be considered linear the fact that part route includes a train ride we regard it as circular.
Meet at Llantrisant Leisure Centre for car sharing
Park on fairwater road by Rookwood Hospital. We will walk from here to catch the 9.52 train from Fairwater to Trefforest.
