Overview

We walk past the water tower and tummuli at Wash Common before taking the path across Sandleford Park to Sandleford Priory. After a short stop to look at Newtown church we cross Newtown Common where a coffee break is anticipated and head to Wash Water before returning along Andover Drove and Enborne Street. There are a couple of short wet muddy sections where walking boots will be necessary. Furthermore, we cross the A339 near the Swan Public House twice where care will be needed.
