We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We will head up the hill from the Craven Arms on the road to Holtwood then to the footpath leading alongside the All Angels vineyard and on to Hamstead Marshall. After crossing the Kintbury Road we head northwards to enter Hamstead Park and head to the church. We continue through Hamstead Park till we are back at the Kintbury Road. After crossing, carefully, we head southwards down the footpath alongside another All Angels vineyard and through the field down to the edge of Avery’s Pightle then continue to Enborne School. After passing the school we head up the hill and along a bridleway to reach Enborne Street, turn west and pass the farm. After a short section of road walking we take the footpath to Vanners Lane and then back to the Craven Arms.
Parking is, with kind permission, in the car park of the Craven Arms which will of course be open for refreshments when we return. Please book online by 6pm on 17th March.
