Overview

An exploration of the first part of the newly-designated Green Link Walk, an urban trail linking green spaces and points of interest in London.  The walk starts on the fringes of Epping Forest and passes through Walthamstow Village, Europe’s longest street market, the Walthamstow Marshes, and the vibrant districts of Clapton and Hackney, to end at London Fields.  Lunch at the Walthamstow Wetlands Visitors Centre (café or picnic).

[The second part of the walk, to Peckham, will be on 27 November.]
