Overview

A pleasant winter's walk through rolling Hertfordshire countryside mostly on good paths. Lunch at the Chequers Inn in the picturesque village of Wareside or picnic nearby. Then return through open countryside and farmland with the final mile along the River Lee Navigation to the station.

As the pub is popular, please email or text the leader in advance if you would like to eat there so she can book a table.
