We are the West London Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A pleasant winter's walk through rolling Hertfordshire countryside mostly on good paths but a few muddy patches. Lunch at the Chequers Inn in the picturesque village of Wareside or picnic nearby (note there are no benches available so bring a mat). Then return through open countryside and farmland with the final mile along the River Lee Navigation to the station.
As the pub is popular, please email or text the leader by Wednesday 15th if you would like to eat there so she can book a table.
Recommended train: London Liverpool Street 10.12, arrive St Margaret's at 10.51.
Meet at St Margaret's (Herts) Railway Station (no toilets).
