Overview

We head south towards Greetham Valley Golf Club heading towards Exton Park.  Once in the park we head towards Fort Henry where we will have our coffee break.  Then, those wishing to do the shorter walk, will head towards

Tunneley Wood before heading North on the Viking Way back to Greetham (a map will be provided showing the route back).  Those continuing on the longer route will head towards the Trout Hatchery at Horn Mill.  We then join the road, turn right and head for a short while to the path on the right following the track all the way to Exton where we will have lunch.  We then head back joining the Viking Way back to Greetham.

The walking is on generally good surfaces and should be good under foot given the dry weather forecast for next week. A few stiles and a couple of inclines.

Dogs are accepted on this walk, although they must be on leads at all times.

Please consider car sharing arrangements with other members to reduce the pressure on parking spots at the start of the walk.
