The walk has sea views and the amazing spectacle of more than 40 acres oof cowslips, ancient chalkpits and woodland. We start in the lovely village of Holme-next-the-Sea and after three quarters of the walk enter Ringstead for lunch where there is a pub for those who might like that. The elevation is probably no greater than 150 ft with approximately 1 1/2 miles of road broken into short sections.
NOTE There is a 4.5 mile cut off available which will take Walkers back to the main A149 where there are cafes in either direction and bus stops giving access back to Holme Next The Sea and ultimately to the car park.
No stiles
There will be a stop for coffee and another for lunch. Please ensure you have adequate, and suitable, drinks and a picnic lunch with you.
Please consider car sharing arrangements with other members to reduce the pressure on parking spots at the start of the walk.
In the event of severe weather, please contact the leader on the morning to check the walk is still on.
